About AIMY Off Site: This is a program of the Yokohama Museum of Art in Japan. "Off Site" means to be away from a site. This program tries to bring further development to expressions of artists with its focus on searching occasions where places, people and art meet. Therefore, they support young artists who can leave the prepared spaces for usual exhibitions through open recruitment.

DETAIL OF MY WORKS ：I start working on my artworks by researching the characteristics of a place and it will turn out as a project type artwork taking a form of public programs and/or installations. I have done the following art project in Yokohama. In Yokohama, there are a lot of people from Asian countries. Among such Asian people, the biggest group is Chinese, next is Koreans, followed by Filipinos, and Thai with 1,477(enrollment) of them living in Yokohama. In the island nation, there aren't many foreign people and the recent increase of Asian people can sometimes be taken as causes of unrest. It is because communities of such foreign people tend to be far from the areas where Japanese people live; therefore, they seem to be hard to see and understand at times. I named this phenomenon "Asian Internationalization in a Japanese city" and performed an art project titled "Thai Bridal Training Project in Yokohama" through which I turned the social situations in Japan that tend to be taken as rather negative into artworks filled with humour.
1:Interviewing Thai people in Yokohama
Converting the museum's bicycle into an interview car called"*Sawadee Car".
I interviewed 24 Thai people of a variety of backgrounds, such as government-sponsored college students, students studying Japanese language, cooks, and housewives, in a period of seven days and asked them "I am getting married to a Thai man and will live in Thailand. What should I do?"
Example 1：A 45-year-old male cook said "You should be able to cook Thai food."
▲So, I started by making cooking utensils that are indispensible for Thai cooking.
I bought teakwood at a timber shop and created original cooking utensils by carving the wood.
▲So, I created a house where you smell soap when you stick your nose in it.
▲So, I did a workshop making tongyod(ทองหยอด) that is one of kanonmonkon(ขนมมงคล).
Kanonmonkon is happiness Thai sweet,It's made from eggs, sweet powder and jasmine syrup.
